TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Competition open to residents within the EU, aged 18 or over, excluding employees and their families of the Promoters, the Promoters’ agents or anyone professionally connected with the Competition.
2. Competition Period: (12.30 GMT) 18th February - (03.00 GMT) [28th April]. There will be two trades running consecutively in every 24 hour period [every day from 03.00 until 15.00 and 15.00 until 03.00] and 100 prizes available to win overall (this number includes 9 prizes available to win at the live event in Leicester Square on 18th February. N.B The following prizes will be available for longer than 12hours: Prize no. 10 will be available to bid from 12.30 GMT until 03.00 GMT 18th February. Prize no.47 will be available from 03.00 GMT 17th March until 03.00 GMT 18th March. Prize no.100 will be available from 03.00 GMT 27th April until 03.00 GMT 28th April

4. Only two entries per person/IP address per day.
5. No entries from agents, third parties, organised groups, those automatically generated by computer or those not in accordance with the entry instructions will be accepted.
6. Responsibility is not accepted for entries lost or delayed as a result of any network, computer hardware or software failure of any kind. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
7. Entries will be judged according to their originality and appropriateness to the trade on offer by the Promoter.
8. Trade Prizes on offer over the Competition Term are:
a) Journey Latin America
A prize of a holiday for two to Ecuador, including 4 nights in the Huaorani Ecolodge with full-board (alcoholic and soft drinks are not included), 3 nights in Quito, 2 x return flights in economy class departing from the UK and airport transfers in Latin America.
The winner must book their travel by 1 April 2010 and complete all travel between April and October 2010 on selected departures only. The travel dates are subject to availability. Alternative travel dates are not available.
The prize does not include visas, travel insurance, entrance fee to the Huaorani territory ($10), transfers to the airport in the UK, spending money, any meals other than those stated or inoculations.
The winner may be required to submit valid identification before receiving their prize.
Entrants must be in possession of a full EU passport.
The winner will be responsible for ensuring that both them and their companion have adequate travel insurance.
The winner and their companion must comply with and is responsible for attending to any inoculation and health regulations or visa requirements required for the destination.
Prize operator (Journey Latin America) will not accept any liability for any loss or damages suffered whilst on this trip. Journey Latin America’s standard terms and conditions of travel apply.
b) Trek America
THE PRIZE: Two seats on TrekAmerica’s 9 day Northeastern BLT tour including 2 x return flights in economy class departing from the UK, 8 nights’ accommodation in hotels, hostels and camping cabins, food kitty, sightseeing in Toronto, Montreal and Boston, transportation by adventure vehicle and services of TrekAmerica's professional tour leader.
Holiday prize does not include, travel insurance, any additional hotel nights before, after or during the tour, beverages and spending money. Please note that suitable travel insurance coverage is compulsory.
The winner and companion will be required to either take out appropriate travel insurance via TrekAmerica or have another adequate policy in place at time of travel and will be responsible for ensuring that they have a valid EU passport with minimum six month validity beyond the return date, and that they are eligible and obtain a U.S. Immigration visa in good time for travel.
Bookings are subject to normal tour conditions and cannot be altered once booked. The prize must be taken outside of high season (August 1 – September 7) and before October 1, 2010 - subject to availability.
c) MacDonald Hotels T&C’s - Chester
Prize includes two nights’ accommodation for two adults sharing a room, including full English breakfast. Dinner is included on one night.
Break is subject to availability & cannot be used during back or school holidays or over the Christmas and New Year period. Prizes are valid eight months from the time the winner is notified.
No additional costs or travel costs will be paid.
9. Prizes are non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right to offer alternative prizes of equal or greater value.
10. Winners will be notified, by email within 72 hours of the close of the trade. Non-winners will not be notified.
11. To claim your prize trade the winner must upload proof in the form of a photo or video of himself or herself doing what they said they would do for that prize item. Proof needs to be submitted within 5 days of receiving email notification. If proof is not submitted Ben & Jerry’s reserves the right to withdraw the prize from that person and offer it to another person, if proof can be supplied.
12. By entering the Competition, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the rules and consent to the transfer of their personal data to the Data Controller for the purposes of the administration of this Competition and any other purposes to which the entrant has consented. All entry instructions form part of the rules.
13. A list of the winners will be made available online at 100fair-trades.com by 31st May 2010.
14. Winners may be required to participate in publicity connected with this Competition.
15. These terms and conditions shall be governed by [English law] and the courts of [England and Wales] shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
16. Offensive or inappropriate bids will be removed.
